Dear rural and out of town patients:
Over the years we have treated a number of individuals from out of the area. For out of town patients, frequently they fly into Love Field or DFW International Airport, each of which are located ten minutes from our facility. Rural patients tend to either fly or drive in. Prostate brachytherapy is an ideal setting for patients who live in remote communities and need treatment. It does not entail driving in for eight and a half weeks of external beam radiation therapy, outcomes are very good and typically it takes coming in to see us a total of three times. Initially the patient is seen for consultation and planning, another visit is the implant, and then one visit for post-implantation evaluation. Our facility is located very close to a multitude of hotels which we have delineated on our website. Should you wish to be evaluated for your prostate cancer, we would be more than happy to do so. It just takes placing a phone call to set up the consultation. Our phone number is 214-379-2700, and our fax is 214-379-2750.
Sincerely yours,
Gregory A. Echt, MD
